For over 16 years, Permanent Beauty by Kalyna—now proudly evolving into Cosmética—has been helping clients feel confident, cared for and completely at home in their own skin. What began as a specialized permanent makeup studio has grown into an award-winning beauty and wellness clinic, proudly recognized with eight CommunityVotes awards in 2026, including six first-place and two second-place honours. (also winners from 2019-2025)
Our clinic offers a thoughtfully curated range of services, including permanent and paramedical makeup, fine-line tattoos, lash and brow treatments, laser hair and tattoo removal, skincare, microneedling, cosmetic injectables, teeth whitening and more.
As we continue to grow, we are excited to welcome new women-led businesses and talented professionals to our team, including Natale McManus from Rise Women’s Health, Hair by Jess and Bare Beauty. Together, we are creating a well-rounded women’s sanctuary where beauty, health and wellness come together under one roof.

Welcome! I’m Kalyna, founder of Permanent Beauty and Cosmética. Since 2010, I have dedicated my career to helping clients feel confident, comfortable and beautifully themselves.
As an Elite Micropigmentation Artist and instructor, I specialize in permanent cosmetics and restorative tattooing.
My work is especially meaningful when supporting individuals who have experienced health-related changes—including those seeking realistic areola repigmentation following a mastectomy or natural-looking eyebrow restoration after hair loss caused by chemotherapy, alopecia or thyroid conditions.

Throughout my career, I have trained with prestigious academies and master instructors across Canada and internationally. With more than 16 years of experience, multiple advanced certifications and thousands of completed procedures, I bring extensive knowledge, artistry and care to every appointment.

This work is more than a profession—it is truly my passion. Every client is welcomed with kindness, patience and personalized attention. With in-person appointments in Peterborough and virtual services across Ontario, she takes the time to listen, explore what may be connected and help patients better understand their health and options—with a focus on pelvic, hormonal and autonomic health.
